The Naples Library has partnered with Budding Readers to bring the Budding Readers Program to the Naples community.
Look for announcements at the library and fliers around town.
Babies, up to 36 months of age in the Naples School District can receive a free “bundle of books” along with our Parent Guide, which contains tips for reading to babies and young children. In addition, a gift of age-appropriate books is provided for siblings through age 7.
Budding Readers also provides a new book for each entering UPK, Kindergarten and First Grade student in the Naples district three times each year. In addition, each of their teachers receives a pack of eight books to use in their classroom.
The Naples Budding Readers Program is coordinated by Sandy Kelly and Jan Murphy, both retired teachers and Naples residents.

Holiday Gifting
Budding Readers regularly gifts children’s books to the Operation Santa Program serving needy families in Naples.
Budding Readers also partners with the Naples Rotary each Christmas to provide books for Santa to deliver to the children in their classrooms.
