Budding Readers has come to
Marcus Whitman!
The Budding Readers Program is now serving the Marcus Whitman community. Watch for announcements in your school newsletter and fliers around town.
Babies, up to 24 months of age, and their siblings in the Marcus Whitman School District can receive a free "bundle of books" along with our Parent Guide containing tips about reading to babies and young children. More than 20 "bundles" have been delivered to Marcus Whitman families.
The Marcus Whitman Budding Readers Program is coordinated by Kathy Burke, a retired English teacher from Marcus Whitman.
