The Budding Readers Program is expanding its efforts in the Canandaigua community by partnering with several local service organizations. Babies up to 24 months of age who are served by these agencies can receive a free "bundle of books" and our Parent Guide. As our funds and program grow, we hope to reach out to many more babies in the Canandaigua community. To date 49 "bundles" have been delivered to Canandaigua families.
The Canandaigua Budding Readers program is coordinated by Ann Hedges and Martha Schwartz. Ann is a retired teacher from Canandaigua City School District and Martha is a retired teacher from Honeoye Central School District.
